PROJECT: SYSTEM INTEGRATION & DIGITAL MARKETING

In 2006 we followed the Olympic Torch Tour for the XXV Olympic Games in Turin, creating the Tour logos and developing the multimedia totems with new content for each stage. Being connected to the network via an Internet card, the totems were updated remotely every day with content created from time to time and published on the backend.

These installations toured all over Italy from North to South, going from +35 to -20 degrees, in every city touched by the Torchlight Tour. Finally arriving in Turin for the final leg, they were edited and enriched with new content, and then remained in the Coca Cola booth for the duration of the Olympics.

In addition to the three totems, which alternated at each stage being updated with images and mini-clips from the previous day, we created two logos specifically for the Torchlight Tour

Coca Cola's long history began in Atlanta on May 8, 1886, thanks to pharmacist John Stith Pemberton, who put it on sale as a remedy for fatigue and headaches. It was imported to Italy beginning in 1927. Other soft drinks produced by The Coca Cola Company include Fanta, Sprite and Powerade.
