The Municipality needed an innovative digital tool to enhance the destination and improve the visitor experience. Engitel designed and developed the Portofino Official App, a comprehensive and accessible mobile application combining geolocation, editorial content, archive materials and audio features. The app guides users through local points of interest, turning each visit into a personalised and interactive journey.
Real-time geolocation, audio content for an inclusive experience, contextual notifications, QR codes, multimedia content, and features supporting the sustainable management of visitor flows and crowd levels.
The Municipality of Portofino uses the app as a strategic tool for tourism promotion, visitor communication and the development of a smart tourism model focused on the quality of the experience and the sustainability of the destination.
