Hosting & Cloud

We have been working with hosting services and cloud solutions for many years.

We operate as an ISP (Internet Service Provider), having our own autonomous delivery network (Autonomous System) and an infrastructure co-located in a webfarm directly connected to MIX (Milan Internet Exchange).

We are qualified as LIR (Local Internet Registry) at Ripe, the body that oversees the European Internet area. At the Italian Registration Authority, we are qualified as a Registrar.

As reference technology for the Cloud we have chosen Microsoft Azure, since Engitel is part of the Microsoft Partner Network, with Gold Competences.

Linux based or Open Source solutions can also be hosted and managed on the Amazon AWS Cloud.

Cloud solutions are typically proposed when a dedicated, highly scalable architecture is required without requiring a high initial investment from the project.
