iPad/iPhone applications

Beginning in March 2010, with the first iPads sold on the US market, Engitel started internal development to understand the technology and its native programming languages, so as to be ready to meet the demands of our customers.

Engitel has not only gained the expertise to develop apps with native languages, but has also acquired expertise in making already developed or developing sites compliant.

The use of native technology (Objective-C, the native programming language of IOS applications) and the judicious use of HTML5 specifications lets us create applications packed with multimedia and interactive features and compatible with the latest devices.

We immediately focussed strongly web apps, that is, applications that help make sites or information accessible not only on the iPad but also on its direct competitor (Android).

Web apps still have their uses in terms of cost control.
