Lab Tests Online is a multilingual site about laboratory testing, initially developed by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) in the US. It provides easy to understand, accurate and reliable information about laboratory tests, their related conditions and screening programmes in each country.
The site, that addresses both citizens and primary care professionals, has already recorded in the US an average of 1.2 million visits per month. Due to its success, it has been brought to Europe and expanded. The UK version was developed in cooperation with ACB, the British Association for Clinical Biochemistry, while the website for Australia and New Zealand was produced with the Australian Association of Clinical Biochemists.

In continental Europe, AACC and EDMA (European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association) signed an agreement to develop new versions of Lab Tests Online using Engitel technology. The first seven online versions are in German, Italian, Hungarian, Polish, Spanish, Greek and Czech. Launched in 2007, all the versions have already been visited monthly by 400,000 European citizens and primary care professionals.
Single countries are responsible only for the translation and inclusion of content on each site, using the Spin&Go.NET platform by themselves. There is just one website and back office, as well as CMS.
